Who We Are:

We are a 501 (c)(3), charitable organization whose mission is to offer love and care to orphaned, disabled and impoverished children.  This is accomplished by both relational involvement and financial support that provides for further development of their healthcare, educational and residential needs.

After 10 years, there have been numerous trips to Hogares Luz Y Vida in Bogota, Colombia. Deep, long-lasting relationships have been established with Sister Valeriana, who is the Director and Founder, many staff members and most importantly the children.  Over time, it became apparent that a more pro-active commitment to help was in order. 

Every visit to Hogares Luz Y Vida revealed tireless commitment to the children and their needs as well as a true desire to build an establishment, which is founded on basic human needs.

The sustainability also became apparent with each subsequent visit as new educational facilities were founded, new adaptive techniques were utilized where needed and overall progress was noted in the daily lives of so many of the children living at Hogares Luz y Vida as well as children living in nearby barrios.

Dependable stewardship, innovation and the vision of Sister Valeriana combined with the sustainability and genuine love and care revealed at Hogares Luz Y Vida strengthened our commitment and motivated us to form Love Of Orphans Foundation.

Our involvement is not only  relational but committal towards obtaining necessary funding to initiate, continue and/or complete projects for the many children under the care of Association Hogares Luz Y Vida.  We plan to accomplish this by partnering with individuals, groups, corporations and other foundations.
